The Koperasi Persatuan TIBA Fuel Station (KOTIBA) also contributed business zakat amounting to B$300,000.00 (Brunei Dollars: Three Hundred Thousand Only).
The zakat contribution was presented by Yang Mulia Awang Haji Rosdi Amin bin Dato Paduka Haji Yaakub, Chairman of the KOTIBA Board of Directors, and received by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs of Brunei Darussalam, in his capacity as the President of the Brunei Islamic Religious Council.
The zakat handover ceremony took place at Bilik Dhiyafah, Level 5, Extension Building, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Jalan Dewan Majlis, Berakas, Brunei Darussalam.
Most recently, on 25 April 2022, KOTIBA presented the business zakat for the year 2020M amounting to B$65,624.21 (Brunei Dollars: Sixty-Five Thousand Six Hundred Twenty-Four and Twenty-One Cents Only). This contribution was presented by Yang Mulia Awang Haji Omar bin Haji Md. Tahir, Chairman of the KOTIBA Cooperative Board for the 2021–2022 session.
