Bandar Seri Begawan, Sunday, 16 November 2025 corresponding to 24 Rabiulakhir 1447H – The TIBA Association Cooperative (KOTIBA) organized its 41st Annual General Meeting, which took place at the Theatre Hall, Ministry of Finance & Economy.
The meeting, held once a year, aimed to review and confirm the minutes of the previous general assembly, as well as to present the reports and financial statements ending 30 June 2024.
Present at the event were Members of the Cooperative Board, Shareholders, Employees of KOTIBA Petrol Stations, and Officers from the Cooperative Development Unit (UPK), Ministry of Finance & Economy.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and a doa selamat led by the Chairman of the KOTIBA Welfare and Religious Sub-Committee for the 2024/2025 term, Haji Mohd Serudin bin Haji Timbang, followed by opening remarks from the Chairman of the KOTIBA Board of Directors for the 2024/2025 term for the 41st Annual General Meeting, Haji Matassan bin Haji Bungso.
The programmed continued with the main agenda, beginning with the review and confirmation of the minutes of the 40th Annual General Meeting, followed by the presentation and review of the meeting minutes by the Secretary.
The meeting also witnessed the dissolution of the 2024–2025 Cooperative Board Committee and the appointment of new Board Members for the 2025–2026 term.
The event concluded with a brief speech from the Interim Chairman, representing the newly appointed Board Members, and a group recitation of Surah Al-Asr.
